The 28-year old multi-talented artist and member of the Vye Twizeen Boyz from Belle-Vue, Vieux-Fort, captured the hearts of many music lovers with his first major release in 2018 entitled, ‘Mahjee With Yourself’.

UMPA

Brendon UMPA Charlery is an international recording and performing Dennery Segment artist from the community of Belmont, Grande Riviere, Dennery in the island of Saint Lucia. He is a master lyricist whose crafty use of the English and Kwéyòl languages earned him the nickname Lucian Shakespeare.

LM Stone

Hailing from the Caribbean and also well known in other countries such as the US, Sweden ,Germany and Spain; Linus Modeste inspires and redeems the country and western genre making the term "country with a difference" solely known.

Ronald Boo Hinkson

Ronald "Boo" Hinkson is a guitarist from Saint Lucia who combines jazz with soca music. He started his career by forming the band Tru Tones.

Icon Showcase: Honors Mrs. Theresa Hall, a Folk Dance Luminary, celebrating Creole culture through dance and music. Poetry Highlights (May 5th): Voices of the Underground features powerful performances from the SALCC WordUp collective, George ‘Fish’ Alphonse, Caribbean Laureate Adrian Augier, Khadijah Halliday, and Jamaican poet Stacey-Ann Chin.

Music Themes:

  • May 7th (Caliente): Latin music performances by Diana Phillip, Tori Elle, Nahoma ‘Ready’ Jn Baptiste, and Ashley Jules, culminating in vibrant Latin rhythms.
  • May 8th (Folk Fusion): Celebrates Saint Lucia’s heritage with performances from RC Boys School drum circle, Charlie of Manmay La Caye’s folk ensemble, and a Bèlè showcase led by Boo Hinkson and Jab Duplesis.
