Art and the City 2026: Where Creativity and Culture Converge

From April 25 to May 16, 2026, Art and the City takes over Castries, transforming the capital into a vibrant, open-air gallery as part of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. Streets become stages, public spaces turn into canvases, and creativity pulses through the city in all its forms.

Audiences are invited to experience a dynamic mix of immersive programming: The Icon Series honours a cultural luminary whose influence extends beyond the arts, celebrating Saint Lucia’s unique culinary heritage. Bold and evocative theatrical productions bring stories to life through powerful performances that captivate, challenge, and move audiences. Voices of the Underground electrifies with spoken word, Life in Colour showcases compelling visual art, and Ti Tak Ste. Lisi highlights the mastery of handcrafted traditions.

Cinema takes centre stage with the Jumpstart Film Project, featuring award-winning local and regional productions that reflect our stories, perspectives, and creative excellence on screen.

New this year, Artscape reimagines Castries through pop-up concerts and surprise performances in unexpected locations—where theatre, dance, and music unfold organically across the city.
